Danish Kaneria Calls BCCI Better Than PCB And His Reason Involves Suryakumar Yadav?

USA Cricket has been in the news of late because of their recruitment of the foreign stars. Corey Anderson from New Zealand and Sami Aslam from Pakistan have already quit their countries to make a career in the USA.

Besides, English cricketer Liam Plunkett is also in the radar of USA Cricket. Former Pakistani spinner Danish Kaneria has expressed his disappointment over the fact that his compatriot Sami Aslam had to consider leaving his nation for the other teams. He felt that the selectors did not give him a chance although he was very consistent.

Talking about this situation on his YouTube channel, Kaneria said:

“He (Sami Aslam) was a consistent player. There’s been injustice done with him. He never got the chances that people like Shan Masood, Imam-ul-Haq did.”

Further, Kaneria gave Suryakumar Yadav’s example and continued that the BCCI and the Mumbai Indians would never allow him to even think of quitting his country and playing for another nation at the global level.

“It is unfortunate that PCB behaves in such a way that players need to leave their homes. India’s Suryakumar Yadav got an offer from Scott Styris to play for New Zealand, but his franchise has stood by him, the BCCI has stood by him, so he will not leave India,” added Kaneria.

Thus, Kaneria highlighted that the Pakistan cricket board should learn how the IPL franchises and the BCCI have not allowed Yadav to think of switching to New Zealand despite Scott Styris’ offer. In case you did not know, Styris said that Suryakumar should consider moving to New Zealand because he could get good opportunities in the Kiwis team.

However, the Mumbai Indians batsman has not reacted to that statement at all. He is hopeful of making it to the Indian cricket team one day.
